Default 295 tires in front

I've got 4 18x10.5 c5z06 wheels, and wanna put them on all 4 corners. Will I be able to fit 295/35r18 tire in front, I checked with the wheel itself and it fits and doesn't rub, but is pretty close to the spindle.

You will likely have problems on the front. It is not the width, it is the height.

I run 315/30 17s on the front and rear, but when I am at full lock it lightly rubs the inner fender. The extra 1/4 of extra side wall likely will make it rub worse than my 315s.

If you can get a tire 25.6" tall instead of 26.1", they should be fine.

ive heard of some people having problems and some that fit fine with no rubbing, seems like it is the same thing as running 315s on the rear of our cars, some people say they dont have to modify anything, some need some massaging. i beleive UMI is running the exact same wheel/tire combo on their shop autox car and havent had any problems. they have a thread going in the suspension/brakes section on that car. i am putting 295/35r18's on 18x10.5 weld rts's which are being built right now.

I have 295/35-18s on the front with 18x10s. My car is lowered with Hotchkis springs and Konis on the lower perch and I have no rubbing issues at all.

We'll hopefully I have no rubbing because I pulled the trigger and bought 4 new Bridgestone potenza re760 sports in 295. Here are some pics of just wheels w/ tires.

I installed the wheels and tires. Rear fits fine just gotta roll the quarter panel a bit, and front is pretty close. There is a 1/4" gap between the tire and upper ball joint bolt. Gonna get a 1/8" spacer for clearance. Here are some quick pics...

It's going to depend more on wheel offset than anything else. I had 18x10.5" c5dd wheels with 295/35/18 nt05's up front a while ago and they slightly rubbed the spindle and were really close to the upper ball joint. I ran a spacer for the ctsv brakes so this wasn't an issue. I upgraded to weld rts wheels with no spacers and 295/30/18's r888's and have no interference anywhere.

We are. We had to use 3/8" spacers and it rubs the sway bar at full lock.

We will be moving to 17" wheels in the near future to go wider.

Sitting still and going straight is always fine.

Lean on it a little and hit some bumps mid corner and it is a different story.

Pics below are wider tires, but are a shorter tire. Look how close things get inside the wheel well. Especially the 2nd pic. I am not even near full lock.

with a 3/8" spacer you should be fine
might get a little rubbing on the fender liner at full lock
any how make sure to get better springs and shocks
that will help with the new found wider sneakers up front

Im actually using a 3mm spacer from Motorsport-tech for the front to clear the upper ball joint thread that hangs down and for the rear I just did the BFH mod and slightly rolled the quarter panel lip. The Z/28 emblem is a original GM Z/28 emblem.

Looks good!

I have the same wheel setup on my car but with the CTSV 6-Piston brakes. I want to go 295 on the front so i will try the 3/8" spacers.
