Pic request: 01 Stock SS zr1 wheels with adapter
Looking to put adapter in the rear of my wifes 01 SS when I lower it. Having a hard time finding a thread showing wheel adapters on stock wheels. If you are running adapter please post pic or give me a link. Also any additional info on what size, brand, and if you cut stock studs.
Thanks
Here is the car we picked up the other day

I'd plan on rolling the rear fender lips with 17 x 9 with 1" hub spacers, just in case you do have clearance issues. H & R also makes a 20mm / .75" spacers #4085704 which will avoid any possible clearance issues with the fender lips. If you really have factory 98-02 Camaro SS 17 x 9, or factory 17 x 9.5" (C4, Zr1) wheels which have hollow areas between the lug nut holes on the back side then the 3/4" H & R hub spacers will bolt up with no clearance issues between the protruding wheel studs and the factory wheels.

Just an FYI, the ZR1-style Camaro SS wheel in the OEM 17x9", 50mm offset sizing with chrome finish was available as a Y2Y option through 2002. '98-'99 were the only years that this was the base wheel (in silver) for SS prior to the introduction of the 10-spoke in 2000, but they continued as optional in chrome. So the '01 car above could definitely have been optioned with the 17x9" version stock.

Do a one 1", I did that on mine all around bc I have the ctsv brake upgrade in the front so I had to run a 1" adapter to clear the brakes with the spokes. It looks way better than stock bc it eliminates the wheels tucked really far in look. I done the heater hose mod on the back and Viking coilovers in the front so at least a 1/2 drop. No issues. I ordered my adapters off ebay.
