Default Wheel pad milling

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good machinist that could take off a couple mm off of my wheel pads? Trying to get from a et41 to about an et43 or so, nothing too major . Thanks

I'd be careful about doing that. Back in the late 70s, I had a set of American Racing, Hurricane wheels on a Trans Am that I owned at the time. The wheels were 8.5" wide, and they were giving me outboard clearance issues. The business I worked for, had a very complete machine shop, in house, including a large lathe we could have chucked the wheels in.

I contacted AR, and asked how much I could safely remove from the mounting pad of the wheel, as it looked quite thick. Their engineer freaked out, and said not to do it. According to him, they make the centers only as thick as structurally necessary, and removing ANY material could compromise the integrity of the wheel.

Just something to think about.
