Default How to tell real magnesium Corvette C5 Wheels

Is there a way to tell if a C5 Magnesium wheel is really magnesium? Maybe a code or stamping on the wheel? My search did not come up with anything or I may have missed it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike

The quick and easy way is the shape of the spokes. They aren't "thin and tapered" like the standard 5 spoke wheels, the spokes are wider and flatter, and they have a goldish tint to them, also. I know there's a stamping code, but right off the top of my head, I can't remember what it is.
