another 10.5 wheel question
I know its probably been asked more then a few times but I have been researching now for acouple days and haven't really found a clear answer. I just ordered a set of staggered 17/18 c7 z06 wheels. The fronts are 17x9.5 and im not concerned about them but the rears are 18x10.5 with a 56mm offset. They are going on a 2000 WS6 stock ride height and im planning on running Bridgestone Potenza re760 tires 295/35/18. my question is will I have any issues with rubbing with the above wheel?
Sorry guys just looking for some peace of mind

I just ordered a staggered set of C5 DD, with the 10.5" having the same 56mm offset. When doing my tire research, I was about to pull the trigger on the same 295/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza re760 tires but ran into a few people commenting on how the Bridgestones looked stretched on 10.5" wheels. Looking at the tire specs, Bridgestone's tread-width runs about 1" narrower that other brands. For example, the re760s in 295/35/18 have a tread width of 10.6", while the same sized Toyo Proxes T1 Sport have a tread width of 11.9". This helped me make up my mind, because I'm not a fan of the stretched tire look. Toyo is offering free shipping for the month of March, so I was able to pick up a set of 275/35 and 295/35 for under $800 shipped. Unfortunately the 275s are on back order at the moment.
I still have the same concerns regarding the need to roll the fenders or the BFH...I guess I'll find out once I get my tires, springs and PH bar...

I have 285-35-18's on the back with stock suspension and everything's fine. I could probably have fitted 295's back there with no issue, but every car is different.
As long as the rear end is centered they should fit fine. Worst case you'll have to hammer in the spot the tires rub on.

I just put 295/35zr18's with the same offset on my car a couple of weeks ago. When I initially put them on they fit without rubbing, but where very close in one spot on the inner well. I went ahead and did the bfh mod a little just in case. I also went ahead and rolled the fenders because I did not want to chance it with new tires. I also noticed that it appeared as if the rims would come into contact with the bump stop, if the car were lifted by the body and the rear axle hanging. Because of this, I trimmed back the bump stops to hopefully alleviate that issue, but have not tested it yet. With all that being said my car is lowered, so you may not have the same issues. Fwiw, I went with continental extreme contact dw tires and they've been great so far.

I have the exact same set up on my car. 18X10.5 in the back with 295-35-18 Bridgestone Potenzas. On my car there is no need to roll the fenders. I have the exact same thing as 98redSS. Trimmed the bump stops to keep the wheels from bottoming out on them, and very lightly tapped on the inner wheel well toward the front of the car. Other than that they fit like a glove, and look awesome filling in those wheel wells. My car is lowered as well with adj. PHB

I tried to install my wheels and tires today and i have issues. I am running 18x10.5 c5 deep dish wheel on the rear with 295/35/18 nitto nt05. I am rubbing on the pinch weld and cant install the wheels without a 1/4" spacer. My next problem is that i dont have enough thread on the stud when using the wheel spacer. Anyone know where to get the correct wheel studs. I noticed that the end of the factory stud is not threaded. If i could find the same size stud as i have now but threaded all the way to the end, it should be fine. Any suggestions??

I installed a set of 18x10.5 with eagle 1 295/35/18's
I just BFH'ed the inner fender and thats all I needed, im also running them up front with no spacer as well, but I am running umi upper and lower CA's and coilovers.
as far as getting longer studs you can look into some ARP studs, I know some of the sponsor's carry them.

When I did mine, I installed them, let them rub for a couple of days, took them off, and hammered in the shiney spots. I did end up cutting the fender wall at the 9:00 position of the driver side with a cut off wheel, because I was having issues and it wouldn't hammer out.

OP 295's shouldn't give you any problems on STOCK height. I find it weird that people are having rubbing issues at stock height. I used to run 305 nitto 555r's and they rubbed some when hitting dips and what not but nothing serious. Those tires run wide too.
