Default Need some opinions on a set of new wheels

Thought about a change. Maybe something black or gun metal grey? I like the forgiato f2.01 in black. Any other suggestions? Anyone is welcome to photoshop.

Can't really help you with additional choices, but that's a beautiful vert. Will you be getting rid of the Chrome 10-spokes when you make a decision? I don't know if you're close, but been thinking about picking up a set of Chrome 10-spokes to replace the painted 10-spokes on my wife's SOM vert.

Great looking car.

I'd leave the chrome 10 spokes on it.

Just my $0.02 worth............

Tires, by nature, are black. That's not going to change. There's a certain amount of "space" around the tires, in the wheelwells, that will also appear black. Add black wheels to the mix, and visually, it gives the look of two big black "holes" on the side of the car. It doesn't do anything for me.

Again, that's just my opinion.

Thanks. That's why I posted in this section for the good opinions. I like them. Now I'm leaning toward keeping the 10 spokes.

What's your budget? Wheels can be as cheap as OE wheels, and as expensive as CCW, FIKSE, True Forged, etc.

I guess you won't be buying a black car anytime soon, just one big black hole driving down the road. Black interior- yuk. Shame tires have to be black, can we get silver or chrome tires please?

I'm not in favor of all black wheels. Just too much black. Where did you did the stripes? I've been thinking of getting the 35th stripes for my red 2000 vert.

Nice car. But IMO black wheels do nothing for your car.

Awesome color! I'd put black wheels to go with the black top

FYI, I haven't owned anything but a black car since 1976, and after I got married, my wife also got onboard with the black car thing. Currently, in our garage, are 4 black cars and a black Jeep. They ALL, however, have either polished aluminum, or bright sliver wheels...........

How about z06 spyder replicas or even cup wheels? Still give the 10 spoke style look but will update to a modern style and modern sizes. The 10 spokes only look good from the sides because of their width and their offset/backspacing. A new set would round out all angles and look amazing.

I haven't seen anyone do the cup wheels yet but I think they would look fantastic in just about any color. Plus will fill out the body shape of the car much better than the original "sunken in" SS wheels do.

those cup wheels in a silver to match your stripes would be great...otherwise keep the 10 spokes
