Default Falken FK-452 tires

Just wondering if anyone has an experience with the Falken FK-452 tires.

My primary priority is wet traction. I currently have GY F1 GS D3s, but one of the sidewalls is coming apart. They're getting close to end of life anyway, so no big deal.

Reviews online seem to point to the FK-452s as having good weather traction, just wondering if anyone on here has experience with them. I can get the Goodyears again, but at almost twice the price, on a 16 year old car......looking for a cheaper alternative.

TIA.

Riken Raptors worked well for me when I daily drove my Camaro in high school. Had to take them in the snow a few times and they were better than most of the other tires i had on the car...I would look into those for a cheap alternative, they seem to have pretty good tread life as well. At the drag strip, the best 60' i could cut was 1.99 but were consistent 2.0's if you care about that at all

I've installed Nitto Motivo's on my 17x11 ZR'1s and drove through heavy downpour the other day with no problems whatsoever. They are an all season rated tire. I have Cooper zeon's all-season on the front. I went with the Nitto's because they're the only all season tire available in the 315/35-17 size I needed.

I have the Falkens on the front of my car but its rarely driven in the rain. When I have been caught out in the rain though they have done just fine. I have to go slow more because of the nittos on the rear though.

I've never used the FK-452s, but I've used other lines of Falkens in the past, and I was pretty well satisfied with them.
