Those are cars that were designed around larger diameter wheels from the beginning, so it looks more integrated. Many/most of them use a larger overall tire diameter which eliminates the rubber band sidewall effect that comes with trying to maintain near-stock tire diameter on a 4th gen with a 19"+ wheel.

^^^They also ALL now have independent rear suspensions, which GREATLY help to smooth out (and control) the wheel hop/'skittering' around bumpy turns, whereas our 'stick axles' will be almost uncontrollable around some of the washboard turns in my area with rubber band profile tires.

Personal preference on looks aside, wheel quality (weight mainly) and tire choice will dictate ride. I have a 19" CCW setup for the street and it rides better than my 18" TT2 setup ever did. The DA shocks help dial things in but I have no reservations going with this size wheel.
To each their own of course...

Some of these 19" wheels are nice designs, but just too big. Would look much better in a smaller size.

Those rims are just cringe worthy OP, no offense. I'm not a fan of huge wheels in general because of the ride and having had so many bubbled and blown out tires in the past. Roads are far too rough in my neck of the woods for them. They CAN look good, but the setup really needs to be dead nuts keeerect for it to look right. Like that blue TransAm someone posted above. A lot of big wheel 4th gens look goofy because the wheels just aren't right. The setup you bought is a perfect example. I hope you can make your money back. Good luck!

See, I think 19s, with a little taller tire help. I'm running 305/30/19s in the rear, and they are a little taller, and my next pair will be 305/35/19s.
I love this shot as it shows how meaty the tire is. Like I said, the next set with be a little taller 35 aspect ratio and I'll have to get out the BFH and massage the inner wheel well, but will be worth it.

Nut, do you have any more pics?
I had black 19" Miro 111 for my black WS6, but sold them before I ever had the chance to put them on.
