Default 17x9.5 fronts 18x10.5 rears Help

im looking at these corvette c5 replica wheels from oewheelsllc.com everywhere i have looked i cannot find a direct answer if the 18x10.5's will fit in the rear without modification. here is the link to the ones i want to get. http://www.oewheelsllc.com/CV05-blac...-fits-Corvette

rears are 18x10.5 like previously stated and they have 56mm offset
fronts are 17x9.5 with 54mm offset

i really do not want to have to roll my fenders or run with wheel spacers. front tire size will be 265/40/17 (should fit?) rear tire size will be 295/35/18

any help is much appreciated!
thank you everyone

if those rears have the same offset like the factory 18x10.5 z06 wheels then you'll need the BFH mod on the inner fenderwells. it's not a difficult thing to do but you're gonna have to hammer a lot of the inside...I did a thread on this years ago.

That being said, what I also learned is that you can get the rear Z06 18X10.5 rear wheels with the factory +58mm(???) offset and install them on 10 different 4th-gen f-bodies and realize that you may not have to mod on some of them and you may have to mod a LOT on other f-bodies.

Sorry, but that's what I've encountered on this site.

I had to modify a LOT to get them to fit the rears. fronts no problem whatsoever...but this is for the C5 Z06 tires.

i have 18x10.5 +58 all around on 285/35's... putting 12mm spacers on today, will rub rear inner fenders on hard cornering. Front clears fine, close on spindle/lca though.

This thread has good tire widths and offsets pictured (for reference).

yea, you'll be on the bump stops, as i was, in the rear. Will rub just above the rear control arms too, on turns. The spacers correct that, bringing it back to oem specs

Use this tool to visualize specs
https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

stock wheel specs are: 245/50/16 16x8 +55 or 275/40/17 17x9 +50

I'm gonna want the rears to be even with or just under the rear fenders
what size spacer did you get ? And where ?
Did you get the hubcenteric spacers that come with the new studs ?

I bought (4) of these spacers
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-HUBCENTRI...pYUynA&vxp=mtr

I bought (20) of these studs
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-100-7708

Installed:
12mm hub centric spacers
2.5" 12x1.5 .509 knurl ARP wheels studs
1.38" 12x1.5 Rocket Racing lug nuts

***NOTE:
-When removing rear studs if you have 4 channel ABS you can just remove the sensor and push the studs through there without removing axles. Will need to grind heads of studs down to pass by the ABS reluctor wheel on removal and install
-3 channel folk will need to either remove axles or drill backing plate to have the studs remove/install

Used these for stud removal and rear rotor removal

Used a Lisle stud installer for the stud install, a MUST. Lets the lug nuts actually rotate when pulling the stud in. I tried using multiple washers. Just chewed the washers and/or the junk zinc coated OEM lugs

Studs

Studs/spacers

Installed

Test drive

Thanks for the replies. I completely forgot to put in the type of car. It's a 1998 trans am ls1 m6 car. Stock suspension besides bmr torque arm and bmr panhard bar.

This past summer I got some different wheels from OE wheels in the same size and same offset. I'm running 295's in the back and 275's in the front with no mods and no problems whatsoever. Car is a 95 Z28.

I might just add a 1/2 spacer to bring the wheels out a bit.....and the same for the rears

Thank you for the pictures! Looks great! Hopefully no spacer or BFH mod is necessary. I'd love to see pics with the tires mounted and if there is rubbing, it'd be nice to see where exactly at.

I dont think im going to need to do anything other than add some spacers ONLY for the reason of bringing the wheels out some so they dont sit in as far as they are.
You can see in the past ive done the upgraded bump stops and did grind down the bracket. I dunno if that will be needed for you.
I'll post up pictures when i get the rears mounted on friday.

Again, rear suspension need to be at full droop to tell if the bump stops will hit. Rear suspension doesn't just move up and down due to the panhard bar. It moves the axle in an arch. So wheels themselves will most likely hit bump stops, not even with tires on

Im gonna do a 15mm or 17mm spacer on the back and i may do a 1" spacer on the fronts. I dont like how the tires sit in.
on the rears they are just a tad over an inch and the fronts are 1 1/4 in.

yeah!....i was checking out the 20mm.
in the past when i had the WS6 wheels...I had H&R spacers (with attached studs) about an inch thick so i had to cut down the stock wheel studs...I think i can put the 20mm which is about 3/4" and not have to do anything.
and that should leave the rear wheels about 3/8th in ..which is about perfect.
