Tire size recomendations
Hey everyone, I just ordered a set of Miro 111s for my 02 trans am ws6
and I'm super excited to get them! I'm wondering which size tires I should run. I did ready the sticky, so I know the ranges for sizes. I bought 18x9.5s for the front, and 19x9.5s for the rear as I like the staggered look. I was considering going with 275 35 r18 for the front, and 285 35 r19s for the rear, but not sure if that's my best option. I want the tires to fit with no issue and look great(don't like the stretched look). Anyone have experience with a similar setup and have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

i have 18 x 8.5 front; 18 x 9.5 rear with tires 245/40 18 and 295/35 18. I didn't get the stretch look you talk about but i did get slight rubbing on one of my rear tires on the inner part of the wheel well.
people do the BFH with a hammer do make clearance. I rolled my fenders because i was getting slight cutting on the outer part of the tires but it was very very slight. I was told the 305 would work on the rears but i have a convertible and some extra frame supports are in that area and i am reluctant to bang away with the mini sledge hammer. I have a Moser 12 bolt rear end.
hope this helps
