DR's on 18" BC Smoothie II's worth it?

DR's on 18" BC Smoothie II's worth it? Hi, i am just wondering, is it worth the money to put 18" nitto drags (285/35/18) on my 18" x 9.5" smoothie II's? I know these wheels are heavy, how much of a difference in my ET will these wheels make as opposed to stock 16" salad shooters with drags?
I really like the look but if it is making a big differnce in my ET i am willing to swap em to something lighter.

When I was near stock I saw a very small 60-ft and ET difference between 16" DR's and ET Streets. The more power you have the more the need for a stickier tire like an ET Street. It is nice to drive to the track with DR's, run and drive home without changing tires.
My 18x9.5 chrome C5's with Michelin Pilots weigh 53-lbs each. My stock 16" chrome rims with Nittos weighed 42-lbs each. My 16 Prostars with ET streets also weigh 42-lbs each. You can see the huge difference in weight between the two (I'm sure the salad shooters w/tire weigh around 40-lbs).

I had that exact setup, i thought it was worth it on the back because it gripped well, but i would just get some normal tires for the fronts and save some cash but i liked it
