Stock studs are 1.5" long, go with a 2 inch stud if your concerned about passing tech. LS1 setups will miss passing by 1/4-3/8 of an inch.

They should still work fine with a closed lug on your stock rims (at least with a McGard closed 60 deg shank style lug...not sure about a stock lug). Essentially, you need <1/2" more then stock to pass tech using an open lug.

btw, if your running 12mm parts, then the only option you have is a 2.5" long stud, you can just cut them to fit with a metal handheld hacksaw fairly easily. Probably take you about 10 min to do. The only reason why I mention this is you won't need the extra length shank, and it will only interfer with stock lugs seating correctly.

arp studs are sold at summit for ~12/set. ARP-100-7708.

Definitly only choose a higher tensile studs.

Hey I have ZR1s and Bogarts....I have 1/2 studs on my Billingsley rear end. I use a 1 inch spacer with the ZR1s.
