I know what tires to get, but.....
After extensive research, I found that 275/40/17 fronts and 285/35/18 backs would work best for my zo6 replicas. I'm on sportline springs and others with these springs are confirming these tires, but I'm kinda sweating the front end...
I might be crazy but my ride looks a shade lower on the front passanger side ....would the 275s and the 54mm offset translate any fatter than lets say a stock 16'' trans am wheel with a 255 tire?

I'll assume width, and your answer is yes. The 275 will be wider, but it probably won't stick out any farther b/c of the offset. Basically, the width of the tire will be wider (obviously) but the tire will sit so much farther inside the wheel well that it will still be flush with the fender.

I measured and feel I might have problems if I try to make the fronts flush. The front passenger side tire is 245/50/16 and I believe the stock 16 wheel is 16x9.5 and I dont know what the offset is.
THIS IS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR TO PLAY IT SAFE IF ANYONE KNOWS THE ANSWER:
What tire would mimic my stock front tire but with a 17x9.5 wheel with a 54mm offset. I need to stay away from being flush with the fender...
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I hope so. Its just that my passenger side seems lower....I dont know if thats because I have stock arms and shocks...it just seems like there would be zero clearance on the passenger side. Rear seems it will be ok.
