18/9.5's Z06's widen to 10.5?
Hey guys I bought a set of 9.5 Chrome AFS Z06 wheels. but now I want 10.5's on the back. I was thinking of having my two rear wheels widen to 10.5's. Is this possible? Is this Safe? Where is the Best place to have this done? What does this usually run? Also if everything is cool and this can be done do you think 18/11's would fit on my car.

if i were you though i would go to 11'', why only 10.5?
i think some 17'' z06 rims widened to 11" would look sick as hell
good luck

Yeah if I do it I would definetly go 11 but I think if I went to 11's I think my offset would be wrong and it would rub the inner fender. Right now the front of my rim is tucked in the quater about a 1/2 inch. I want them to stick out towards the outside of the quater. I saw where they are making 18/12's I think they would fit with the right offset. I think my offset now is 56mm. Have you guys seen any 18/11 Z06 wheels? If I could fiind 18/11's or could find out if 18/12's would fit I think it would be cheaper to buy two new ones straight out and I that way i know my offset would be perfect.

I am also fixing to buy some chrome Zohsex rims. I was just thinking the same thing. Why didnt they just widen them to begin with (17x11)
Does $200 per wheel include everything or do you have to supply them with another wheel?

Can you explain to me what an adapter is. I dont know much about wheels. Are you refering to spacers to offset the wheel?

Man I don't know really how they go about widing the rim but i think they cut your wheel in half and add more medal to the the middle of the wheel. So if they did that your wheel would stick out as much as it does now and whatever they add to the wheel will go to the inside of the wheel. I don't think they can change the offset of the wheel. So if you ran adapters your wheel would stick out more towards the outside of the car. That way they wouldn't rub the inner fender. Pleas correct me if I'm wrong.
