Title pretty much says it all, minor hole in center of tread pattern. Thanks

The best thing to do is get a patch- plug. It'll plug up the hole ,and with the patch it'll hold the plug from coming out during a burnout.

I tired patching a slick and after two hours was unsuccessful My buddy works at a tire shop. I was so pissed because we were on the way to the track so I just told him to plug it ( I know I know, don't plug slicks) that was over 70 perfect passes ago. lol Works like a champ! Never have any problems with it.
