looking for 15's with stock backspacing
Im having trouble finding someone that makes the backspacing i need for a 15" wheel to race on. Im running 17x9 10 spoke SS wheels on my LS1-S10 project and i had to get my Moser cut 2 inches wider on each side than stock in order to run f-body wheels without spacers. Only problem this presents is the tire is almost even with the bed now, so i can't go out any with the wheel so basically anything over 2" out will look like donkey *****. Right now my only option is to run a weld 15x10 with 6.5" b.s. and just have to settle for it looking like *** on the track with the rear tires hanging out of the fender wells. Does anybody know or tried to find out where you might be able to get something like a 15x10 with 7-8" of b.s.? I can go in a total of 8" of backspace and have enough room to clear a 10.50 slick, im just looking for something that wont stick 2-3" out my friggin fenderwells.

Also, is there any compromise in strength when running that much b/s? Im probably going to be doing 3-4K rpm launches on a 200 shot, so rim strength is sorta a concern.

If your looking for an inexpensive wheel and price is the main concern, then you need to consider economy weld prostar or draglites or the like. Our rims will most likely out of your price range. An ET street 28x10.5 slick needs a 10 inch rim...trying to stuff it on a smaller rim isn't a good idea. Either shorten your rear end so you can choose their 10's, get new stock rims that work the the new shortened rear or choose a smaller tire so you can go with a smaller rim. You can get a weld prostar/draglite with a 7.5 BS btw.

I never seen a 7.5" b.s. 15x10 weld until today after i went and looked after your post. I'll probably just go this route, dunno if im right or not...but aren't Bogarts about $1K a peice? I'll just be better off having 1/2" poking out of my bed.

Glad I helped you some. Hopefully all works well.
Bogart P1, P2 rims are right in line with high-end weld rims...not their entry level economy rims. There are substantial weight gains, not to mention quality of workmanship that goes into high-ended rims.
We do have a lower-end rim which is close to prostar/draglites...doesn't work with LS1/LT1's well and it wouldn't have been a consideration due to the overly large BS your wanted.
