Default Anyone have problems with black coated rims??

I just bought wheels from O.E. they were shipped on time and they look sweet. Has anyone had problems with the paint fading or chipping??

No, but I sent mine back because they were the wrong ones. I'm not sure if OE puts a clearcoat on them to prevent fading, but I know AFS does.

OE wheels do come with a clear coat to prevent oxidation. Are the wheels you're talking about the 35th L.E. Pontiac wheels? Black with a polished lip? Eventually the clear will begin to flake, just keep them away from brake fluid to keep them looking good longer.

I got the ones from OE too, and they are flawless.
