I bought AFS chrome ZR-1's a couple of months back (pic in sig). Not black, but here's some feedback:
Chrome quality sucks...plain and simple. A piece of chrome about one sq. inch was flaking off when I took the rims out of the box brand new. The part wasn't noticeable though b/c it was inside the rim, but still that's ridiculous for brand new wheels. Now after a couple of months my chrome is starting to pit a little in some areas.
As far as fitment and vibrations they are spot on, no problems. Fit great, but require BFH mod if you are lowered like me. Hope that helps.

Edit: Added a pic for reference.

I did win the ebay auction for $600 bucks though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I have a set of black ZR-1's in 9.5 on all four corners. The first set arrived and went on fine then...the clearcoat started flaking off three of the four. Wait...don't freak yet.

I called AFS to try to remedy the problem and got EXCEPTIONAL treatment from them. They were more than happy to try to get the problem resolved. All they asked me for were some digital pics showing them what was going on.

After they got the messages and pictures, they sent me a brand new set of four rims. Apparently, they had a bad batch of clearcoat get on some of the wheels and I got sent some that weren't supposed to go out at all.

Fast forward to the new set. They have been on for almost five months and I don't have any problems at all. They had great service and I would recommend them.

I had the black ones on my '02 for about 2 months. The fit/finish on them was excellent for the price. One arrived with bent lips (dropped during shipping) and AFS was quick to get a replacement sent out.

I've owned a set of polished & chrome 17x9.5 & 17x11's. Nothing but praise for them. Quality of the chrome on my wheels was/is excellent. IMO, they are the best bang for the buck wheel out there.

I had the black ZR1s for over two years on mine. I have never had a problem with them what so ever.

Nope, sure didn't. I tend to avoid conflict/confrontation at pretty much all costs. Don't handle stress well at all, so I just dealt with the poor chrome quality. I figured it would be easier than having to take pics and contact them for a replacement and deal with all that headache.
