I'll 3rd that. I have a guy I race with that has them on his "street" car: 68 Camaro with a 555" BBC, run best of 5.55 on the juice, and goes 6.3's off the juice! He can and does "cruise" the car on weekends. (Should be noted though, the car does have coil-overs and ladder bars) He is running the MT DR's now. We had a cruise in where I work a few weeks ago. When this guy left he pulled straight in the road, stopped, stalled, and stomped. No burnout, not even a "clean-em-off spin" Barely spun (trying to grab, not really "spinning") for maybe 4 to 6 feet, an audible "bark" into 2nd, and that was it. If I had been looking, he may have pulled a front tire (lots of weight off the front!) but even if not, they hooked that car FAR better than I would've thought possible. The road was cool, the tires were cool and it still grabbed hard!

And, from what I hear, they're pretty damn cheap!

Best of luck, let us know how the work for you.

I havent had a chance to try out the M/T dr's, but I'd heard alot about them. I'd go with those or BFG's.

if you need an 18" dr then the g force is your only option. they do hook very good considering its a 30 series tire.

I'm running a 295/35/18 BFG G Force DR and really like them. Don't think it is gonna last long, but will be a hooking bastard while they last.

i ran those also before switching to the 315. the overall diameter of those is a little larger than a 275 35 which i use for my front tire however.

Evidently nobody like Nittos?

They do make a 285/35/18 and a 305/35/18 drag radial. I've been trying to decide which ones to go with also.

I like Nitto's. And have had several sets; however, the question was what DR hooks the best period.

nitto makes good stuff but they are prolly the least hooking drag radial out of the three mentioned...however they are the best for all around useage!
