Default CCW's prone to cracking?

Just found this nice little blemish on me front wheel. Trying to figure out if I want to fix it or get different wheels.

I'd call CCW and see what they have to say about it.

Well I talked with John at CCW and he is making a new center for me... in fact he offered to make a whole new set at materials cost only. What more can you ask for? CCW customer service kicks ***!!!

Just wondering, but are they making you the new center piece for free?

Personally I would expect everything to be free considering these are $2500 wheels, and something like that looks to be a rare manufacturing defect

As far as I know the broken one is free and the others are $75 to cover material costs. One thing to note is that I am not the original owner and they know that. I only asked about cleaning up the other three and John offered me the others.

Well thats good to hear, nice to see they are taking care of you despite not being the original owner.

I know I am looking at a set of 505s sometime down the road, and when I saw your thread my jaw was about to drop

update! the new wheel is sooo much shinier than the others (prev owner forgot to clean em) so I called up and asked about replacemnt centers. Originally they said $75 per center for material costs which I thought reasonable but yesterday this showed up prepaid!!

I know these wheels are damn expensive but the service is as you would expect. top notch and then some. I think my next set of wheels will be a set of SP20's

I'm definitely going to get some CCW's for my daily driver Stang when I come up with the cash. Prices are good and the customer service seems to be excellent.
