vibration??
I bought some boyd coddington wheels about 7 months ago, really had alot of problems with them (but that's another story).
It's been so long since i had the stockers on that i can't remeber any more? Does everyones car vibrate some when going over 70mph, especially on rough freeways??
also, tire guy told me that my rear wheels become unbalaned because they spin on the rim when doing any type of burn out?? is that true?? 315 nitto's on 17 x 11's by the way...
any help would be great!!
thanks

BS on the tire guy unless you are runnig below 20 psi, 15 really. As for the vibration, check the front tire psi. My steering wheel vibrated a lot when cruising over 35 and I just filled 'em up to 47 and it's fine now.

No offense, but you are putting yourself in a very dangerous situation there. The max cold pressure is 44 psi on the f-body tires. The recommended inflation is 30 psi cold.
Your car probably rides like a dump truck and the tires must be wearing horribly with that much pressure.
If you are having vibration problems, please have it fixed by balancing the wheels...not buy over-inflating the tires!
As for the BCs....I have a set on my car and one of the wheels is warped across the face from Boyd Coddington. I returned it to them and they said it was perfectly straight. You should see this wheel turn on the dyno or on a balancer..it is out by at least a 1/4". So I am stuck with a warped wheel. In addition, the finish on these wheels is pretty poor and they won't hold a polish for very long.
Even with a road force balance, ym Boyds do not run smooth at all...I really regret buying them.

After watching how people at Boyd's shop work, it's not surprising the quality is down on his wheels. His tv show reveals he has some real idiots working for him and only 2-3 knowledgable guys.
