Default Paint or Powdercoat?

I am thinking about getting the centers of my TTII's either painted or powdercoated a gunmetal/charcoal color and wondered which would be better. I know the powdercoating would be more durable, but if I got tired of it could I strip it off like paint? Might be a dunb question but I wasn't sure...thanks

Yes you can, it just requires a little more elbow grease!

do yall know how much this generally is, I just found out about a place right near home that does powdercoating so I am gonna check them out (actually just heard about them on this board) but was wondering if yall had any ballpark numbers, my grandpa owns a body shop so I could get them painted for next to nothing but would rather get them powder coated..thanks again in advance
