Default Lightest wheels?

Wanted to know who makes the lightest wheels. NON drag wheel, has to be a street wheel.

I think it is still CCW trackIII wheel as that is what I have and a 17x11 weight was 18lb! Any lighter street wheels, as I am planing to have two full sets of wheels?

if you can spend double the money those CCW's cost, then you could get some HRE's or BBS's or SSR's.

its tough to beat CCW's with titanium bolts for lightweight and not-too-expensive wheels... in 17x11 they're what, $450/each?

Judging by the looks of his signature, I'd say he could afford 'em! Sweet SS by the way.

Well money isn't a problem I am just seeing if there are any lighter wheels around!

I guess I can just buy another set of CCW wheels for my other set of tires! Just thought it would be cool to have a different set!

Oh and I got the CCW wheels 17x11 and 17x10 for a steal at $650 shipped all of them! One time deal I couldn't pass up!

What are CCW's HRE's, BBS's, or SSR's? How do all of those stack up against Z06 wheels in terms of lightness? I'd search, but you need at least 4 characters...

IMHO I have to say HRE,FISKE,and CCW are the three best companys for wheels in the world. Well BBS too but not so many options.

And for the money NO ONE can beat CCW wheels or how light they are. With the bolts they use you can unbolt the three piece wheel and order half a barrel for like $70 and rebuild it. That is (last I checked) hundreds under a rebuild wheel from HRE or FISKE.

CCW are mostly used on AutoX and roadcourse cars but alot of the vette and viper guys are using them on Drag racing.

Best wheels money can by! WAY WAY better than stock ZO6 wheels.

That's a good price you received for all fours.

Weights on rims can vary with the design that you consider. A RR Bogart RT will be ~17-18 lbs for that size of rim your considering. There may be others manufactures w/similar weights...RR rims or similar style rims can pop up in cottage industries so it's hard to say whom has the lightest.
