Here's a link to what mini-tubbing is, and the process you have to go through So far as price, I don't know what to tell you. I hope that link helps you out a little bit.

Here is a good example of a mini tub on a 4th Generation F-Body, the only one that I have seen. This T/A is BAD A$$!

Mini-Tubbing is just the expansion of the wheel wells. Here's a "How-To" that i wrote up a few years ago, it'll at least give you an idea of what it's all about.

I got prices from $700 to $1000, so I decided to do it my self. I have done all the cutting so far. It is not that bad just time consuming. It will allow you to put a much larger tire on the car though. Here is a pic of the wheel up in the wheel well after cutting.
