Arrow are my rims chrome?

im going to try and attach some pics of my car. i recently bought the car, i first thought the rims were chrome but im starting to believe they are polished alloy.. how do i check or what do you guys think?

Definitely polished.

if they are polished, what do i do to get them to shine real nice? ive been useing turtle wax chrome polish, but i know theres gotta be something better out there.

Sorry, I don't frequent this forum too much but I would first suggest doing a search in this forum on "wheel polish" or "polished wheels", etc...

I think for just day to day cleaning most people use Mother's Wheel Polish or Blue Magic. Many people wax or Zaino their wheels as well.

Depending on how **** you are about your wheels, you could consider getting them powdercoated clear.

There's also another product called Zoop Seal that's supposed to last a very long time once the wheel is polished but that's about all I remember about it.

The stock wheels are clear coated.

yeah those look polished... I would use a good metal polish or jusr plain Mothers wax on them. I used mothers carnuba wax on my old wheels, now I use mothers chrome polish for my chrome Z06's

Unless you strip the clear off. You can not polish them. Taking the clear off my polished Y2K's was the best thing I ever did.
