Default Hey you tire guys, got a size question...

I have a set of Kuhmo 245/45 R17 on 17 x 9 SS 10 spokes now:

I was wondering if those tires would fit on a set of rims that are 17 x 9.5 ?

Is that .5 that much?

I am asking b/c I don't want to have to buy new tires, they only have 2000 miles on them.

I think they are too small, that 9.5 needs at MININUM a 265 and that's stretching it, correct size is a 275, a 245 will look retarded Sell them and get new tires, better safe than sorry.

Yes, you need 275" or 285". I have 285" Pilot sports on my rear 9.5 wheels. The tires you creently have should be on a 8.5 wheel not a 9.5.

Go with more than a 245, i had 245's on my 17x9.5 zo6's up front (i had no idea of tires and the guy just put whats on a stock vette, not a zo6) and it blewout on the highway and headed straight for a curb, minimum of 275's
