Default 2 front tires

Stupid noob question I know, but it's worth asking to be sure...

Is it okay to have two front tires (such as my Fuzions) with Nittos in the back? It would seem kinda retarded to have them all around if the goal is to get traction to the rear wheels and shell out the extra dough for the other two. Usually by the time i can get around to rotating the tires, it seems really too far off to do it and almost not worth it. I'd like to save money and have some grip.
