Not dissing on either wheel, but why go through the trouble to sell one set of wheels to get another set that look almost identical?

I'll put mine on this weekend. Gotta polish them up, and install the iRotors too.

I agree, why don't you just either paint the centers a different color, or polish them or have them powdercoated. They do look awfully similar, and probably cost more.

Several wheels look similar. If you see the wheels in person side by side, you will notice the differences immediately. The Boyds are a 2-piece forged wheel cut out of a chunk of billet aluminum. Privat's are cast as-is and are a 1-piece wheel. These have a higher bling factor than the Privats, see these larger photos:

yeah i have no doubt the boyd's are better quality, but you are def going to pay for it too. i do like the idea of being able to get them fully polished though, something i think the privats should offer. they look very nice, but if i was buying new rims i think i would do something kinda different from what you have on there now, but thats just me, get what you like

They don't come in chrome. When fully polished they are incredible.

polished wheels are definitely high maintenance. I'm thinking of having mine chromed or just buy some Zoop Seal and seal them.

Oh you can "get" them chromed, but it's gonna be about $500 extra.

Per wheel or in total, if its per wheel it definatly aint worth it, if in total, still not worth 3000 but, i can somewhat justify.

i think the polish looks more high end...chrome is kind of cheap looking in most but not all cases.
