tire help fitment on front tire question

tire help fitment on front tire question in tire rack they say for 18's 245 is for the front and 275 for rear. can i put 275 in the front or will that cause rubbing. problem is i wont be dropping my car for a while and i dont want thinner tires and create great fender gap
