Good topic, I've been thinking the same. Please include wheel & tire sizes with your pics if you could.

OK I know these Welds arent on a F body car , but heres a pic anyway.... I wish they were at least 16 inch so I could try them on my 98 TA as the bolt pattern is the same.

These are Weld Telstars... 15 x 8 Polished Alum. Wrapped in BFG 245/50/15 Front and 255/50/15 in back....... they smoke excelent with the Linelock!

Unless you go with the XP series you will have to use wheel spacers up front and grind the rear brake calipers. The XPs are a little heavier than the regular Welds.

When you use the spacers up front, do you have to use longer studs or will the stock studs be good enough? I have the Weld draglite 3.5's up front but don't want to go with longer studs and I know I will have to use the spacers.

Just got my Weld 3.5's. Just used a spacer and stock wheel studs.

Alot of people use stock wheel studs with the 5/16" spacer (in the front) but it's not exacly safe. A few people have broke their stock studs in the front. I bought ARP studs but never got around to putting them on.

BTW: I read that Weld has done away with the XPs.

Weld has got rid of the XP line. I was just at the Weld store in Kansas City and they told me that they did discontinue the XP line.

What is the narrowest you can get the XP's in for the front? I've been searching for some. I don't remember seeing any skinnies. I think 16x7 or 16x8 was the narrowest. I want Pro Stars but I don't want to change out studs and run spacers and grind the calipers. I swear nothing can be easy for me.

If your not willing to do any of that I would just spend the $$$ for some Bogarts. No spacers and no grinding needed. Even if you where able to get some XPs, it would suck if you wrecked one since they are dicontinued.

Call me crazy, but I'm just not a really big fan of how the Bogarts look. I'll probably just go with the Pro Stars on the '69 for when it goes to the track, and if I get the urge, I'll get the grinder out and work the calipers over on the '01 to make them fit.
