Should I get closed end lug nuts or open ended for drag racing? There weld draglites. Thanks!

Open, give you the flexablilty for long wheel studs.

open if you attend any event or just a by the book track with test and tune. once you get to a certain et, can't remember what that et is though, it's required. the lugs should pass through the lug nuts at least the distance of the diameter of the lug itself. example: if you're lugs are 5/8", then they need to stick through the nuts at least 5/8" as well. hope that helps.
