Default MT 325/50R15 (28" tall) on a weld pro star 15x10 Q

Ok, looking into the MT ET Drag Radial 325/50R15 tire for my weld pro-star 15x10 rims. How much am I going to have to remove in the wheel well? I know the calipers need grinding - cool. But just removing the bump stops, will that be enough or am I going to have to hammer a lot and about how much?
anyone with pics?
thanks
-Steve

Depends on your backspacing. With a 6.5 BS you'll be ok with little "adjusting" to the front of the inner wheelwell. By that I mean a hammer to it but not much. The wheels will stick out a little. Mine stick out about a 1/2 inch from the TOP of the fenderwell but towards the bottom they look huge. If you have a 7.5 BS then you're gonna have to get serious with the inner fenderwell.

i had to remove my bumpstops for my 275/50/15 MT DR's. some do, some don't. but for 325's, it's a must. like tektrans said, less BS is going to be less adjusting, but unless you have a narrowed rear, i would suggest the 7.5in BS, and crack out the sawzall, and go to town.

In my avatar, I have 15x10/7.5 Pro Stars and 28x10.5 slicks, no spacers.

I'm sure I could swap over to 325.50.15 mt dr's with minimal extra work.

you have to clearance the front inner part of the fenderwell, or they will rub. you have to deburr the front at the bottom, and do something about the jounce spacers. It's mostly obvious. Mark with paint if you need to recheck.

John, those drag radials are equivalent to the 28x10.5 W's. 13 inches wide. Maybe a hair smaller.

Sweet, thanks for the help. So it doesn't sound like you had to do too much.

BTW I have 7.5" BS
