Default Question about tire profile

Would you be able to notice the difference between a profile of 315/35/17 on the rear and 275/40/17 on the front? I haven't been able to find a tire match with the profile being the same for 17" rims for the front and rear. If there is a tire please let me know.

Thankx
Chase

Default diff

what do you mean but notice the difference. You mean by looking at it? Yes, a little. I have 315/35/17's in the rear and 275/40/17's up front. Looks great. you'd have to do the math to figure out how much taller it actually is I believe that say a 315/35/17 the tire is 35% as tall as it is wide and the 275/40 would by 40% as tall as it is wide. Say you could have a 315/35 and a 255/35 sitting next to each other, just because they are both 35 doesn't mean they are the same. Don't take my word on this but I think that is how it works.

I am running those sizes. You don't really notice the sidewall difference.

Should be the same overall diameter and sidewall height. Try this tire calculator
