Default smaller front tires?

I have 245/50-16 Nitto's on the rear and was thinking ( or maybe not thinking ) that I'd like to put a smaller tire up front. Is that even possible ( with abs) and what's the smallest I could go on 16x8 rims? I'm also wondering if that'd look retarded but thought I'd ask you guys and see what you think. I know the norm is huge tires all the way around. The bigger the better but I'm looking at less rotational mass up front.

I'd leave it as is. That is not a very big tire to begin with.

I saw a pic of 205 60 16 on a stock rim. There was a claimed weight savings of 5lbs a tire vs. 245 50 16. I didnt like the look though.

NArrower but same OD is the only thing I'd recommend.

xsta, any recommendations for a narrower tire but keeping the same OD? Also, would that end up with a huge sidewall on the fronts? More than likely I guess I'll keep it the same at all 4 corners but wish I could find some pics of what I'm wanting to do and see how it looks. Ever heard of a tire place changing tires out if you didn't like the way they looked? Maybe I could ask?

Best advice is to play with the tire calculator in the "Does this Fit" thread.
