Question Wheel Idea?

Im new in here, but am a member on LS1.com already. its down right now so im in here learnin. I drive a 99' Trans Am WS6 (ram air)(M6), im haveing a hard time finding rims i like. i have looked everywhere & think i have finally decided on what to do, u guys let me know what u think.

My car is midnight blue & here is my idea:

1) replica Z-06 wheels w/custom paint (leave lip & rivets chrome, but
paint centers midnight blue w/pearl to match the car & give a
totally custom look) this is something i have not seen on any other
Trans Am or Camaro.

Anyone ever thought of this before?

P.S.- im also changing all interior lighting to blue instead of that damn red.

Might not look too bad. If you car was red or something bright, then I would definitely say no to the body matched colored wheels.

i like it cause i havent seen anyone else attempt it & i go to alot of local car shows, so it might get me a few extra looks too.

Also when i get wheels im thinkin bout goin with 17 x 8.5" in front & 17 x 10.5" in back.

I'd say get the Z06 style, w/o rivits, that are finished like teh 35th anniversary Camaro wheels, paint the black areas body color. I'm not a fan of the exposed fasteners, especially when they are fake.

im with EXSTA Z 28 the rivets dont look that good to me either. I would say just go with the non riveted z06's with either a black center or with the matching color scheme. To me both would look good.

I was with you until you said the pearl part. Why? Go with just chrome and midnight blue.

Don't forget to paint the calipers too.
