Default 275/35 to 335 30

99 z28 here, lowered 1.5in

in the rear right now i have 275 35 18s, ive been looking on ebay and found some 335 30 18s for a good price. the wheels are 18x10.5
will these fit? they are only .4 more in diameter. however would they stick out like a sore thumb and rub on the outer fender?

been also lookin at a more reasonable 295 35 18s, but they are .6 more in diameter.

I couldn't fit the 335/30's on my 10.5" Z06 wheels. We had around 100 psi in it and the tire bead wouldn't seat. The wheels were way too narrow. I've heard of somebody doing it, but mine sure wouldn't go on. My 295/35's fit perfectly.

Yeah, you need a 12 in rim to do the 335s correctly. Some have done the 335/10.5 but they bulge out on the sides and are slightly rounded which reduces the contact patch to what a 305 or 295 would be anyhow. I did the 335 on a 12" but I don't think I'm going to be able to lower the rear at all. I'm going to try though, but there is just not much room for a 13.5 in tire to tuck up in there. I say go 295 or 305 max.

How about just doing a 315 if the 335 doesn't fit.

Mine fit the guys said they had some trouble getting them on because the tires were so stiff but other than that they fit fine.

I like em because they bulge just enough. The contact patch is the same distance away from the edge of the tire as the front of my car. 2-3 cm.'s

18x10.5 z06 motorsports with the vette offset.

NOTE: get ready to do ALOT of work to get them in the wheel wells right.

Yes you will need to roll the outer fender lip.

This thread will be closed though for liability reasons so really it's just up to your own judgement.

thanks for the info guys... ya i can see anything over 305 as being pretty extreme and not tucking well w/o work

the 275 35 18s now are very fat, i can only imagine some 295s. what is everyone running in the front? i have 245 40 18s now.

I had 335/35/17s in the back on my car for a while. The added height was super noticeable, and they just didnt look right. I ditched them for 275s again.
