Default Need advice on cleaning these wheels. (Pics)

Can anyone tell me what I can do or use on the inside of these wheels to at least get them cleaned up? I'm not expecting to make them look like the outside, but if I could get rid of some of the crap on the inside, it would be nice. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would try Meguiars Hot Rims (pink bottle). It's strong stuff, which is why they tell you not to leave it on for more than 15 seconds. I'd give it a shot before I go with anything more abrasive.

I need to know as well. I used every type of chemical, even that hot bottle stuff, scrubbed the hell out it, even used a power washer. I barely scraped the surface. I even tried, on a rag, brakleen, and it didnt work. Only thing I can think of next is, chemical stripping, but thats a last resort.

when i had my stock zr1's they werent chrome or polished just the plain painted silver color so i took an sos pad to the inside with a little soap and water and it worked out fine. most of it however just came off with soap and a cleaning rag. The meguiars is good stuff too.

After you have cleaned them, hit them with a coat of wax. Good strong stuff like turtle wax is perfect for this. Afterwards, just hose them off occasionally and they will stay looking like new.

I had the same stuff on my WS6 wheels. They are coated on the inside. I used everything I had to get that stuff off. What worked the best was Eagle One Never Dull. It took a lot of scrubbing but it all came off eventually.

What kind of wheels are they? I've used simple green and all of my wheels have always come clean. On the TT2s I follow up with heavy metal polish, the green liquid. When you use the simple green I would mix it with a little water. I only use the heavy metal polish on the inside of the wheel. I don't like the stuff for the outside of the wheel.

if that doesnt work, get some poorboys ssr3, its an abrasive polish used for polishing the paints clearcoat, but it works on just about anything
