HOOSIER[D.O.T.]Drag Radials
HOOSIER [D.O.T.]Drag Radials results!!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,,,,just a note to let you know how the new Hoosier Drag Radials compare to
BFG DRs[255/50/16]Best ever 60ft 1.802
M/T ET STREETS[26/10/16]Best ever 60ft 1.78
Hoosier slicks[26/10/15]Best ever 60ft 1.65
Ran the DRs for 3 weekends and the only tire that I have run that sticks better is the slick.
Got 13 runs in Sunday on a hot and very humid track and still managed consistant 1.71s with a worst 60ft of 1.74.
The tire needs practically no burnout, just roll through the water stop at the edge apply linelock 2 seconds and spin to the line.
The tire performs far better than the ET STREET in the traps,it isn't wandering all over the place.
I found that 18-19 lbs gives me the best results with my heavy car[3700 lbs]
They are also less drag at the other end than the slicks, allthough I will retry the slicks just to be sure this weekend.
I have yet to run my friend with a very similar car on M/T DRs,I want to see who wins in a heads up 60ft race.
I was pleased with the results and will let you know of any more improvements.
Thank you !!
Serge.
