Tire height/ diameter

I did a search on this and I'm still confused.

Is the tire height the same as tire diameter?? Are they one in the same??

Yup. Tire diameter and tire height refer to the same thing. Stock size tires (245/50R16, 275/40R17) are approx. 25.7" tall.
