Same bolt pattern, supposedly a 38 mm offset. Should fit, but with that big of tire it would be close.

These are 16x9.5 ARE wheels from an 87 Vette and my car is set to the 93-02 F-Body Offset,

Just a note, I don't think there are any street tires that would fit those. The only wide 16" tires are going to be competition ones.

Actually, the Corvettes from that era ran 255/50-16's (I once bought a take off set for my '89 Formula). I just looked and most 255/50-16's are rated to fit up to a 9" rim. I suspect that the 9.5" measurement is "outside to outside" and not the actual inside width of that rim (the width the tire sees). If so, that rim is perfect for those tires since it's at the top end of the allowed width. That will give a flat, stable footprint for handling (and it was a Corvette).

Depending on the specs, I'd think a 305 is a bit wide for that rim and I'm not sure it will work "properly" (as far as making maximum use of the available tread and grip).

well the tires are 305/40/16 M&H racemaster slicks and they fit on the rim awsome only boldging a lil bit and they work quite will i tryed them out on my ta and they fit really well and the footprint with 14lbs was awsome

these tires bite very very hard

i would say that these rims with the 305s is a great option for anyone that wants a cheap rim and slick combo without grinding

the rims can be had very cheap and they are 9.5" wide

i think i might try and bythem for the guy and maybe get the skines he has also
