Default PowderCoating Rims

Alright for the time being i think i am gonna put my HRE or Fikse rims on hold for now.

My question is. I was thinking of powder coating the center of my Torq Thurst 2 rims the NB to match my car and leaving the lip polished. Whats your thoughts on this?

Would anyone be able to Photoshop a TT 2 rim powdercoated NBM?

I'm not sure. I think it wouldnt look bad because it is such a dark color and you wouldnt really be able to tell it was navy blue until it was in light

I saw in one of the Fast Ford Magazine's last night at the store a Lightning that was dark blue and had the dark blue painted centers on the rims and it look pretty good.

PS: I was looking at a ford magazine because my girlfriend is looking to get a 02 mustang gt soon. so please spare me

I think it would look good. I say go for it. If I had a dark car I would think about doing the same but since I have a red car I think it would look just plain ugly to have red wheels

DOnt feel bad i looked through it too. That Lighning was pretty sick. Your car is darker and the wheels if color matched would be darker and i think ur **** would look even better.

Do it dude! I was one of the first to powdercoat the center of my TT II's black on my black WS6 and it looked sweet and I got PM's about it all the time! Still do even though the wheels are gone. Being different is where its at!

I would do it just because its such a dark color, its not like your wanting to do it some bright color like red. Just go for it.

very nice looking wheels man. I was thinking of doing that also, just getting them powdercoated black like your's.

Should I do the Dark Blue or the Black?

I just called a powdercoating place and they said they wont do it because some reason about a static spray gun they use for the powder coating and the powder coating is thick to where it will get under the tape some how. Where did you get your's done? Probably to far for me but just curious

Nevermind, I found a place close to me that will do it. Wahoo!!!

How much are they charging you? I'm thinking of powdercoating mine black w/ a polished lip but dont even know if its a reasonable enough price to bother with.
