157-71633N Gorilla Wheel Lock System, Acorn, Closed End, 20 PK (1 lock per stud), 12mm x 1.5

I bought them. All of the lug nuts need the key. I included 2 pics.

I've been using them both for years and the McGards have proven a little more durable. But, as Andy noted, they're both nice and the Gorillas are cheaper.

never heard of McGards... maybe thats a good thing though so thieves dont have the keys for them. durable is good too, i stripped all the stock lugs and had to tow the car to the mechanic to get them off; and i had to buy new ones too. damn you GM

i dont see what makes them worth the money. what appeals to me about the Gorillas is that the lug is a unique shape which means i dont need a lock. and if the Gorilla is strong enough, what makes the McGard so good? thanks for the site by the way, google didnt bring me with website for some reason

I've just found the McGards to be more durable. I've had Gorillas develop some mild surface rust after a couple years on a daily driven application - never had that happen with McGards. Also (and this is just IMO) the McGards are a nicer looking piece - the chrome plating just looks better. I agree, though, that if you're just looking for a set of lug nuts that's better than stock, the Gorillas are are hard to beat for the price. Again, as noted above, I don't think you can go wrong with either choice - pick what fits your budget.
