Default painting stock wheels

if i were to paint some o.e.m five stars that are chrome... what type of paint should i use if i werent going to powdercoat them? and does anyone have pics of their painted wheels? please post

i bought some cheap silver zr1s, stripped them with aircraft stripper and then painted them with dupilcolor wheel coating and clear coat http://www.easyautopart.com/Dupli_Co...l_Coating.html.....if i would have spent more time cleaning them up it would have turned out perfect, as is they aren't too bad......and the paint is pretty awesome......i'm not sure if you really have to strip the paint or not, on the can it says you just clean the wheel surface, scuff it a bit and spray it on; but in my case the wheels were scuffed and need smoothed down anyways....

thats sweet lookin'. im thinkin about just getting some o.e.m five stars. just as good. i think. what do you guys think?

i've actually got my stock 5 stars for sale, but if i hadn't wanted to go with the wider wheels i would have just painted them.......

Default wheel widening

what are stock sizes all around? 16x 9's? how much would it run me to widen teh two rear wheels?

the 16" wheels are 8 inches wide.....i was thinking about getting mine widened too, but i never got to the point where i checked the cost.....
