Default Help!!!!!!!!!

Look, I know this question has probably already been asked but, I dont have time to search. I would like to trust all you experts to help me out.

Heres the story,

I decided to get 17x11 50mm offset for the rear of my 2002 Camaro SS. I also bought 315x35R17 tires for the wheels. When i ordered the Wheels the salesman tols me that the 50MM offset would fit the back of my car. When we test mounted one of the wheels and tires, it PRESSED RIGHT UP AGINST MY SUSPENTION BUMP STOPS!!!! IT pressed so much that the tire wouldnt even turn at all. I need advice, either cut off the bump stops all together or return the wheels and tires, which i dont know if they even will?
However, if i do cut off the jounce bumpers what wil it do to my suspention?

Please help, any comments would be greatly appriciated

You MUST support the rear axle to mount the wheels, the bumpstop issue is absolutely no problem with leaving it alone, unless you plan on playing "Dukes of Hazzard" . . . .

You would have had your answer instantaneously if you searched.
