Default Stock wheel question

A couple days ago i had a flat tire and today i was cleaning my wheels and noticed that the clip that was on all four wheels is missing on the wheel that had the flat. My question is, what is the purpose of this clip and should i be concerned that it isnt there any more??

Thanks for the help

Clip? are you talking about the weights that go onto the lip of the rim? If so they balance the wheel when the tire is on, and you should go get it re-balanced otherwise you should notice vibration at speeds...

I'm not really sure if its a weight or not but yea its on the lip of the rim. And they told me that a balance was included in my fees so does that mean they actually didnt balance it, or is it possible that it was balanced properly without it??

Well they could have moved the weight to the inside of the wheel (people like not seeing the weights) or they could have used stick-on weights (inside the dish of the wheel they look like little strips of squares on double sided tape).
