Default et and 10 bolt quesion

i have 255 50 16s mt et streets i use around 17 to 18 psi and launch from 3000 to 4000, i have around 330 hp to the rear. is 4000 to much for a stock rearend and clutch . i am looking for a 9 or 12 bolt to replace the soft stock rear.

I would say yes that is too much. Although I have seen guys who can launch like that all day long all the time and have no problems and others try it once and blow the rear end apart. I'd say right now one of the main reasons yours is holding together is because the clutch is slipping enough not to hurt the rear. JMHO

with the stock clutch, you might be ok for a few launches, but if you have an aftermarket one, it will most likely not last at all.
