9.5" = a 275 or 285 max . . .

The 10.5" will get you a 295 or 315.

how do i find out if it's a 9.5'' or 10.5''? bought car with rims
and I currently have nitto nt555 285/35/18,looks like there's enough space to go with bigger tires

Odds are you have the 9.5" wheels. The 10.5" only come in replica's and they aren't all that common. I would just keep that tire on there, or when you get new tires, measure the rim width.
