Default Wheel Diameter Opinions

Here in the next couple of months I plan on buying a set of CCW 505A's for my WS6. I would like to take a poll on everyone's thoughts about wheel diameter size. I know 20's look silly as hell so thats out of the question but I keep debating between 18 and 19's. I haven't ever seen in persong 19's on a TA so I can't judge this diameter my self. If you have pictures of your 18 and 19's feel free to post but everyone let me know your thoughts. I think a wheel with a rubber band around it doesn't look very good so can you post what size tire to use with an 18 and a 19, I think 35 for an 18 and 30 for a 19?

if you are debating between 18's and 19's......you better go with the 19's, if you get the 18's.....you're probably gonna wish you went with the 19's

i had 19x10 CCW 505a's on my Z with 275/30ZR19 tires.......if you are gonna go 19x10 505a's also, get 285/30ZR19 tires....the 275's looked a lil stretched on mine.

Thanks trilogy thats good info on the tires. I was looking at your website your car looks great with the iforged on. I think it looks good with the 20's on the rear. Why did you change from the CCW's was there anything you didn't like about them or just wanted something else?

I find it hard to believe no one else has an opinion on this!!!

Do 'reverse drop center' 18" wheel (no step in lip...its smooth) which allows for a 19" center. This gives you the best of both worlds. 18" rubber with an 19" center.

I first had the IForged wheels on it....then i sold them and went with a set of CCW's. i have since sold the CCW's and i am getting close to placing an order with ZE Forged for a set almost identical to the IForged i had, but with black centers and a 2 piece rather than a 3 piece wheel (with the 2 piece there won't be any worries of them leaking air where the inner and outer hoops are sandwiched together like a 3 piece).

more or less, i sold the CCW's due to the fact that i miss the rivets around the diameter of the centers......i think it adds a totally different look with rivets, plus with the black centers it will be ALOT more easier to clean them......and the only polishing that will be needed is just the hoops.
