Cheapest way is to pick up some Pro Stars or Draglites along with 5/16" spacers and some new GM 3" (or ARP 3.125") studs. This will be a direct bolt on set up, you will not have to touch the calipers. For tires you can get some generic 165R15s, the Kumaho ones are $26 a peice at tire rack.

Can u run the draglites w/o spacers? Can this be done with a lil bit of grinding on the calipers or will it still not work? I dont want to grind calipers but I dont want to have long *** lugnutts on my normal wheels to cover the studs either. The skinnies my see my car once every couple of months and for pretty much to/from the track use only.

Hmmm, I didn't know you could get away with this without grinding the calipers. Longer studs and a spacer sounds like a good plan. What about rear tires. If I wanted to run some matching 15" wheels on back (10"), could I use spacers there with longer wheel studs and avoid any grinding? Seriously thinking about switching my car to a slicks and skinnies setup permanantly.

I ran stock studs + Weld skinnies + 5/16 spacer + no grounding up front for almost five years.
Convo Pros will fit up front, no spacers, but their rear rims won't all fit in back, some still stick out.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I may change the studs to stock lenth arp's may not either. The only time I will ever run the skinnys would be on the track and thats not often at all. Im about to put on some 18" chrome Y2K's and i dont want that extra weight at the track.
