Default Silly question

This may seem like a dumb question but how far below the GM recommended setting should I fill the tires, because I dunno if it's just the tires but my tires can never grab traction from a stop, and the cars trans setup is stock

I wouldn't drive for a long period of time with the tires underinflated. An underinflated tire runs hot, and then boom.

o well that could have been bad, thanks for warning me. So is the right pressure to run for performnce actually what it says. For some reason my car is pretty much stock but it peals out a little from a stop. My friends trans am doesn't have this problem and he has cheap tires on it.

I heard the best way to start a race is by pressing the brake and revving, letting it go at a higher RPM, but my tires just spin at the lightest rev.
